Metal Casting Zone

Hi Resin casters
I have just had made a new longer perpex box, for the vacuume of my resin castings. Have had a bit of trouble getting a good tight seal around the bottom edge of the new box.Edges of the box are 10mm thick sides 20mm thick at the ends.
Have had sucess getting a good seal after having glued a large volume of clear silicone sealer on the bottom of the box, However this will for sure wear out in time and woundered if any one could advise me if there is a good silicone rubber available from a rubber supplier I could use to cut out a stronger sealing gasket for the seal .
