I was poking around for sources of fireclay near me, and I came across this ceramics supply place. They have a whole mess of varieties of fireclay, and I was wondering if anyone had any insight to the differences. Is it just brand, or could the different varieties make a difference?

The place I got mine had A. P. Green Fire Clay and had refractory stamped on the bag. I don't know much about it but I liked seeing that on the bag. I think the Hawthorne Bond Fire Clay would work OK, I know others have used it.
