I have a commercial propane torch called Tiger, that throws a huge propane flame, has anyone ever tried one of these in a furnace?? Sparky

I got a cheap weed burner from Harbor Frieght. It puts out a good flame and I've used it from a wax burnout but didn't leave it in long enough.

yes i think the Tiger was a weedburner and also for melting ice in stock watering troughs and starting tractors in winter.

Yes, a Tiger torch can be used to melt metal in a smelter furnace. It's a little slow, I think because the air ratio is not ideal (and also is not adjustable) so the flame temp is not as high as it could be but it does work.
