How do I get the order of the post to change, so that the newer posts in a thread are towards the bottom of the page?

I've been trying to do that myself.

Same here. Regardless of what i choose in the settings (under my profile) it´s not showing up the way i want it to.

I've changed my settings every which way also and it's driving me nutz.

You may as well forget it, it's been more than 2 years since I first asked the question and I still have not recieved a responce.

yeah,greg I notice that not many posts in this section seem to get answered.
I do alot of lurking and it's really annoying.

I think that I am going to quit - the forum feels to be more of a afterthought to a blog than a real forum.

the order of posts has always been that way?????? this forum is a slow posting forum....the info that has been posted over the years is keenly sought after by students..... having the oldest post show first is annoying but when you are using it for research .....reading the first post first helps get things straight..... ive been a way for a bit and ive found it handy to read the first post again... then the last....

other forums are based on HEADLINE POSTS that is to draw attention to a item ...normally short lived and forgoten.

i find searching other forums that you have to wade through that much CHAT that getting to the info is a big task. anyway...with casting ...patterns everything is back to front and up side down.

Be that as it may,can we at least get the option working so people that have a differing opinion can change it?
Or is the option there simply to fill space and not actually available?
Been looking at forums and newsgroups for 13yrs now and kinda stuck in my ways.
Never been on one that ran backwards,this is my first.
