well this is a must for your wax working tools.
i went to a few thrift stores and found exactly what i wanted.
for only $7.00.
there were many "crock pots" to choose from.
here are a few things to look for...
temperature control: the best has an adjustable dial,
not just LO. MED. HI.
( the one i found also has a removable cord )
glass lid: the new models seem to have plastic lids.
( i think the glass gives better fire safety if the wax gets too hot )
metal interior surface: most seem to be ceramic.
( i have found the metal to be more durable in the shop )
with my new wax pot i can soften the wax to work it by hand
or melt it and pour it into molds.
