TECHNOLOGY OF CASTING FROM FERROUS AND NON-FERROUS ALLOYS BY LOST-FOAM CASTING
Improved technology of production of casting mass 0,1 – 2500 kg, equipment and the varieties of which are protected about by 50 patents.
In a sandy mould from a polystyrene at an inundation substituted for a non-permanent model a molten metal, that gives casting of any most difficult geometry from ferrous and non - ferrous alloys. At moulding shallow models collect in blocks or bushes and place forms in a volume, but not in a plane as in an ordinary mould. Absence of traditional mould forms and bars is eliminated by application of moulding and bar mixtures, moulding consists of filing up of model sand.
On a 1 ton of casting expend only 4 types of model and molding materials: quartz sand - 50 kg, polystyrene are 6 kg, heat-resistant coverage - 25 kg, polyethylene tape - 10 m2.
Line of cooling and warehousing of sand for the economy of apartments and improvement of terms of labour often assemble out of workshop, wherever dry sand freezes together. Such line is set in the casting workshop of PTIMA, from it two units of equipment are taken in a workshop: oscillation table for moulding with the pipeline of filing up of sand in a mould and receiving grate for pouring out of the worked sand from.
For new and reconstructed castings workshops the complete complex of underlying technological hardware of Lost – Foam process is created on the production of the 100-5000 t per year castings from ferrous and non - ferrous alloys, which allows for 0,5-1 to equip a new workshop or area and completed under the areas of customer for a production as non-permanent castings so to any serial ness during a regeneration 95% sand and utilization of gases of gasification of patterns.
