i came up with the idea that if i added more clay to my sand it might be good for lead. so i gave it ago! i think the sand was just a bit too wet . but a start has been made. pattern peices so far!

you could make moulds up for those things up with silicon easy or if they are not too big any spin caster worth their salt will be able to vulcanize a mould for you and then you can pour them out by the dozens quickly and cheap and with much flashing as well.
