"powdered iron cement" for permanent molds 1 Year, 7 Months ago  
I was reading a Popular Science article from 1953 and it talks about using powdered iron cement for making permanent molds. It sounds like it can be purchased anywhere but I have never heard of such. Does anyone know anything about it, brand name perhaps? I am thinking it might be more available in colder climes, I'm on the Texas Gulf Coast.

Okay it seems to be made by the Ucannahafit Corp. So 60 parts powdered iron 2 parts ammonium chloride and 1 part sulfur
When I locate cheap sources for these I will give it a shot and let everyone know how it works.
