There are many advantages of gravity casting over die casting and as a die caster I was hoping I could share a few of those advantages. Feel free to add additional advantages you know also. Gravity casting does not require a large machine to inject the metal. Gravity casting start up cost is much less than die casting.

i think that gravity casting also allows for experimentation. die casting is great but the tooling and equipment can be prohibitive. for production yes... die cast but i think for most artist and hobbyist die casting may be out of reach. thanks for the info kineticdc good luck casting, irontwig
