Hi,,
I have a question,
the material is Stainless steel 410, and the technique is investment casting,
it is very light, just 30gram.
S/S 410 material is called no rust material, why it could be rusted?
I am very confused about it. Could you help me? Thks in advance.

410 SS is not rustfree, as I found out a few years ago.
I was sending waxes to be cast to make some door strikers for old Chevies.
I ordered 300 series SS and instead they made them from 400 series for extra strength.
I polished them and took them to a swapmeet and got rained on.
I left my display out in the rain as they were STAINLESS, so wouldn't rust.
WRONG. They all had slight surface rust soon after the rain stopped.
I used only 300 series after that.

Any man that thinks he is too old to learn something new, probably always was.
