Metal Casting Zone

Hi there im not sure if this is even the right site too ask such as question but I figured it will be a good start.

I am a complete novice with this stuff... really just resarching to see if and idea I have is cost affective


I wanted to create a item for mass production, the item is about the size of a large mobile phone

how much would it cost to get a mould made?
also how much would it cost to produce the item each time the mould is filled.

I want the item to be made of metal

Im not sure if anybody can really give you help you. At least not without more information. The fisrt question is what type of metal without knowing that theres no real way to know a cost.

I can always tell when I have typed something when I should have been sleeping lol. Way to many typos, oh the joy of sleepless nights with an infant.

I can help you if you know exactly what you want. First the tooling cost will likely be thousands of dollars and the part prices can be as little a $5 if you are buying a thousand or more parts at a time. I can easily make a few hundred parts but it would cost more each part. Look at my site...
