Hey, my names Tom, just recently joined this site. I joined this forum because my dad has been a metal caster for quite some time and asked me if I could find him some parts that he needs on the Internet.
Since I am not too familiar with the whole casting process and what not he described he needed two items.
1. Metal thermometer that measures what temperature the metal is after melted. I can't quite find this since each time I type in "metal thermometer" I get a simple weather thermometer made from metal. Maybe there's a specific name for this or something.
2. Another item he mentioned was some sort of Oven that would melt his metals. Preferably run on gas. He described that there were some sort of brick chambers on the outside corners. Closet thing I found was this:

If you guys could help me out on this since I'm a new at this sort of stuff It would be appreciated. Another thing is if you have certain websites that are helpful with casting supplies and could post them here would also be appreciated. Thanks in advanced!
