Your on the right track. You may need some small fins on the side like a clothes dryer to make the balls drop.

OK fins added. It went from a machine that made a little noise that I could stand for a time to something that is now located in the barn with the door shut. That thing is loud!. I must be doing something. sounds like blendering driveway gravel!.
