Sorry I could not get the pics to upload, but its fairly explanatory.
*2-Iron 1-1/4 to 1 inch reducers (or 2- 1-1/4 to 3/4, in that case forget the 2- 3/4 to 1 bushings)
*2-Iron 3/4 to 1 inch bushings (I did that from the beginning to keep a few options open, like if I needed a bigger diameter nipple)
*1-Iron 3/4 by 5"-10" long nipple
*1-Iron 1-1/4 by 3" nipple (drill 8 symmetrical 1/2 inch holes for air intake, center them in the un-threaded part)
*1-Iron 1-1/4 coupler
*1-Iron 1-1/4 square head plug (with set screw hole drilled and taped to 1/4-28, centered on side of square head)
*1-Brass 1/8 square head plug (center drilled and chamfered to .035)
*1-Brass 1/8 coupler
*1-Brass 1/8 by 5" long nipple
*1-Brass 1/8 to 1/4 adapter
*2-Brass 1/4 by 1" long nipple
*2-Steel or Brass sets of LP pr hydraulic quick connects (one set 1/4 and the other 3/8, both with female 1/4 pipe threads, I chose the different sizes because I wanted to prevent any idiots from attaching the burner strait to the regulator)
*2-Brass 3/8 gas (SAE) to 1/4 male pipe
*1- 3/8 by at least 5' long LP gas hose (I used a Marshall Gas Controls hose because they have quality stuff, this hose is rated to 350 psi)
*1-Brass 1/4 ball valve (for emergency cut off, instantly extinguishes the flame)

(For the regulator)
*2-Brass 1/8 by 1" long nipple
*1-Brass 1/8 t0 1/4 adapter
*1- MAPP(MPS)/Propane dual gauge (with no less than 45 psi max.I do not think you are supposed to use an Acetylene reg's for propane and visa-versa)(Will fit BBQ tanks as well as Propane Bottle cylinders)

I made sure any parts in direct contact of gas was yellow brass, I only shop at Lowe's for quality pipe parts, the 1/8 and 1/8 to 1/4 inch parts are all Yellow Brass and I only use rated thick "pink" LP and Natural Gas thread tape. Now I came to realize it is not necessary to put tape on the nozzle and coupler attaching the nozzle to the 1/8 nipple or stem, just tighten them firmly and test for leaks before putting in torch, any joint outside the torch that is brass gets tape. I use no tape on all iron fittings, I recommend you not torque the torch body parts down, as the expansion and contraction of the iron can make it very difficult to get them apart. However I did torque down the 1-1/4" square head plug because I used a 4" long nipple for the stem and had to get a little more depth out of the end of the stem, so 5" will be adequate. I assume you can scale up the torch if needed just follow the size differences in this post and the principles are the same of the venturi design, great part about it, no blower and no air damper required! If it seems that I missed any parts just let me know.

If it ain't broke, upgrade it! Who ever proved that necessity is the mother of invention, retrofit and reverse engineering make the best contraptions.
