Metal Casting Zone

i am currently a Grad student in Master of Arts program at Cal state Sacramento university.

i did some casting in undergrad but that was some time ago.

my friend( who is also the shop tech at school ) and i decided to build a furnace to melt aluminum.

we hope to start casting Art metal this fall 08.

so far we have been doing great and we melted our first scrap down this week.

now we need to make green sand and work on investment formula.
