has anyone tried this.?? i have but i challenge if it makes any difference. lite salt is found in the supermarket in the health section as a regular salt replacement. it contains salt and potassium chloride. this is melted in the furnace till it becomes a liquid and then is poured out onto a tray. as it cools it becomes rock hard. you break the lumps up. this is now the flux. when you drop a small lump into the pot the metal froths a little which you have to remove. maybe im not using it correctly?????
